My Colors

     MY COLOURS
by
Syeda Shafia Kiran
When I feel blue
I see no one besides you
When I feel green
I see nothing but my dreams
When I feel yellow
I reflect the time I spent with my dirty fellow
When I feel red
I see you and feel blessed
When I feel black
I lose all but my dad’s back
When I feel pink
I remember the day when you winked
                    When I feel grey
Nothing helped but my mother’s pray
When I feel white
I try to remain quiet
When I feel indigo
I just say let it go
